NAESB Master Agreements for the Purchase and Sale of Gas

The North American Energy Standards Board (NAESB) published the “Base Contract for Sale and Purchase of Natural Gas” in 2002. After the 2002 contract had been in use for a few years, it was amended in 2006 to reflect industry practice (the “Base Contract”). The Base Contract is one of the most commonly used contracts for the purchase and sale of natural gas in North America.
