Securities Lending Authorization Agreements, Operating Agreements
A securities lending authorization agreement (SLAA) is entered into between a party who wants to lend its securities (the lender) but wants to do so through an agent, which is typically the lender’s custodial bank. The SLAA governs the relationship between the lender and the agent, the terms under which the securities can be loaned and the agent’s compensation.
